I recently added some works on paper to my shop for the first time, and thought I would take a minute to tell you a little about them (see them all here).
I was trying to brainstorm some ways to offer more affordable artwork in my shop, but was never really interested in offering prints. I think prints are great, but I always believed that my shop was a bit unique because every piece of art I offered was a hand-painted original.
That’s when I came up with the idea to offer some 9 x 12 inch pieces on heavy, durable paper. These are a bit more minimalist than my works on canvas and feature water color paint, making them a bit more airy and light.
I am currently featuring a few different “themes” of these pieces. There are colorful abstracts, pretty feathers, and Spring-inspired florals.
I also started experimenting with a series I called “Bound by Nature”, which is a mini-series of works on paper exploring geometric shapes and colors found in nature (see below).
These works range from $30-$35 dollars each and ship for free in the U.S. Check them all out in the shop here!
